Cona is a free 3D room planner that runs in your web browser on a laptop, a tablet or a phone, so there is nothing to download or install. Open it, draw your room to its real dimensions or upload a photo of the floor plan, and furnish it with real furniture in 3D. No sign-up to start. On a phone you can add it to your home screen like an app, and you can send anyone a link to your room without them installing anything either.

How it works
From a browser tab to a furnished room
Open it in your browser
Go to cona.design/create in any modern browser, on a laptop or a phone. Pick Blank room to draw the walls or upload a floor plan image; on a phone you can also choose Scan a room and sweep it with the camera.
Draw your room to size
Type the wall lengths in feet or metres and place the doors and windows. Or upload a photo of the floor plan and let the AI trace it in about 20 seconds, then correct anything it missed.
Furnish it and share it
Place real pieces yourself, or tap Furnish (Cona AI, Beta) for a whole set in one go, and look around the room in 3D. Then use Share room to send a link that opens in the other person's browser.
On a work laptop or a Chromebook
Nothing to install means nothing to ask IT for
Cona is a web page, so there is no installer, no admin password and no plug-in. If the computer can open a modern browser, it can open the planner. The same goes for a Chromebook, a school laptop or a borrowed tablet.
On a phone, open cona.design in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android and choose Add to Home Screen (under Share on iPhone, in the browser menu on Android). It then opens full screen from its own icon, like an app, without going through an app store.
What no download does not mean
It needs a connection, and an account for a few things
Because nothing is installed, Cona needs an internet connection; it does not work offline. The furniture catalog, the 3D models and the AI trace all load as you use them.
Drawing, furnishing and sharing a room need no account. A free account is asked for when you start a camera scan from a laptop, when you build a phone scan into a 3D room and keep it, when you invite someone to Edit together, when you use Imagine for a photoreal image, and when you want the same design on another device.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to download anything to use Cona?+
No. Cona runs in your web browser, so there is no app, installer or plug-in to download. Open cona.design/create and start drawing.
Does it work on a phone or a Chromebook?+
Yes. It runs in the browser on iPhone and Android phones, on tablets, on Chromebooks and on Windows and Mac laptops. On a phone you can also scan a room with the camera, any phone, no LiDAR needed.
Can I add it to my home screen like an app?+
Yes. In Safari on iPhone choose Share, then Add to Home Screen; in Chrome on Android choose Add to Home screen from the browser menu. It then opens full screen from its own icon.
Do I need to sign up?+
No. You can draw a room, upload a floor plan, furnish it in 3D and share it by link without an account.
Does it work offline?+
No. Cona needs an internet connection, because the furniture, the 3D models and the AI trace load as you use them.
Where is my design saved if I do not have an account?+
In your browser, and a copy is saved to Cona. To open the same design on another device, sign in with a free account.
Can I share my room with someone who does not have Cona?+
Yes. Share room makes a link that opens your room in their browser, so they do not install anything either, and you do not need an account to make it. Editing the room live together, with Edit together, needs you to be signed in.
What do I need an account for?+
A free account is needed to start a camera scan from a laptop, to build a phone scan into a 3D room and keep it, for Edit together, for Imagine (the photoreal polish), and to carry a design between devices. Drawing, furnishing and sharing work without one.
